Now please, can we get on with the business of extricating our nation from the socialist onslaught called "Health Care Reform", aka, Obamacare.

Wait, what about jobs! Why shouldn't that be first? Glad you asked. Yes, tax cuts should increase for everyone, the Bush cuts should be forever. This is the only way to encourage industry and small/mid-sized businesses to move forward.

The Government can never create jobs in any other way. Every time it 'gives' benefits to anyone, it 'takes' something away from someone else who has worked hard for what they have. Simply, the government has NO RIGHT to my money for those purposes. I am not an ATM machine for the Democrat machine.

People are learning what Obamacare really means. Higher premiums for all; businesses dropping health plans from their benefits pkgs; Doctors & nurses leaving the health fields; none of this is good for anyone.

But this is what happens when a RACIST is in power - this is REPARATIONS. This is taking from - not just the white - but from those who work - to give to the po' folk. Many of whom happen to be non-white and disposed to voting for their masters, the Democrats.

So all of this giving, the people who receive are held in poverty and slavery. They are kept happy with bread and circus - hey, that's how Rome fell..

It is therefore incumbent upon us, the conservative, the true patriots, to dump this hellish disgusting grab of our freedom and income and slam it to the ground.

Uninstall it! Hit the Backspace key! Put the car in Reverse YES! Do whatever you must to kill Obamacare. As soon as possible.

I really HATE Barack Obama and members of his administration, because of his and their ideology of stealing from and punishing those who work hard and are able to have a good life. This racist, marxist group is hell-bent on destroying the United States of America by ignoring the Constitution and legislating illegal mandates.

So they have a couple hundred billion dollars left over from the stimulus money FUNDED BY THE WAY BY TAXPAYERS and their children unto the 7th generation or MORE.

So, workers pay extra taxes and the Government STEALS the extra money that it has no right to touch, the wages of our work, and gives it to: women who want to start a business, poor people, and all the general lowlifes.

BUT what if I as a woman want to start a business? Well, since I am a white woman, I am not eligible for any help. If I was MUSLIM, HISPANIC, BLACK, PAKISTANI, AFRICAN, SOUTH AMERICAN, ASIAN, NATIVE AMERICAN or ANYTHING but white, I would be eligible for that money grab.

This is so RACIST. Barack HUSSEIN OBAMA jerk... jerk ... jerk ... is the biggest racist of them all and has brought his racist friends into the White House. Eric Holder is a racist. Rahm Emanuel is a racist. Andy Stern is a racist.
AND they're all marxists too.

Others may become frustrated and angry if they believe the local government and other groups in the community will not protect them. When perpetrators of hate are not prosecuted as criminals and their acts not publicly condemned, their crimes can weaken even those communities with the healthiest race relations.

Wow, this sure mirrors what Islamic Terrorists are doing to Americans on our own soil, as well as around the world.

If these Islamic Muslim Terrorist asswipes are being tried in New York, under our legal system, the prosecution should most definitely throw the Hate Crime book at them, as well as charges of murder, intent to commit murder, and so on.

AND one hopes that no one seriously looks at the "backgrounds" of these "poor guys who didn't have a good life" or any of that Politically Correct bullshit. These guys deserve the DEATH PENALTY and I wish to G-d that we could HANG THEM instead of letting them fall asleep with no pain. PAIN is what they deserve. Cloture vote moves Huge Government takeover possible

Have any of us lived through destruction of a nation? Do you see this possibility? Do you care about the future of the United States of America? Do you care about the future of your children and following generations?

If not, go back to whatever useless life you're leading.

If so, are you making phone calls, sending faxes and email, writing letters to newspapers & Senators, calling into radio talk shows, and spreading the word to your neighbors, friends, family, and co-workers?

If ever the time was ripe to move yourself into action to make a difference and to save America from a growing government and its intrusion and takeover of your life, it is NOW. This Senate is hell-bent on ramming through an unconstitutional monstrosity of a bill to control all of our lives, as well as giving huge monetary gifts to some states in order to cement some Senate votes. This is outrageous. If Congress' goal was simply to 'give health insurance to some 35 million un-insured' it easily could have designed a special program just for them. At a much lower cost. But now we know this is not their goal. The real goal is Universal, single-payer crappy low-quality, mandated health "care" which will put YOU in jail AND fine you thousands of dollars if YOU don't have or cannot afford the health care option provided to you. Completely unconstitutional.

And make no mistake - the government premiums will be very costly to all.

Really - what has the US government taken on that ever EVER saved a penny? The US Postal Service?? What a JOKE! But that's the first that comes to mind. There is so much nepotism and family chain hiring, big perks and bigger salaries, which grow and grow and never ever ends. Ever.

So think again before your heart begins to bleed for all those 'without' insurance. Is this really the best our 'leaders' can come up with? Nothing is fixed. Just more shite shoveled at us all.

Since the vote of every senator affects every American, contacting them ALL is fair game. Obama doesn't live in every state, yet he's lobbying them all for their vote. So is Reid, Schumer, Dodd, and so on. When you call any Senate office and are asked which state you are from, you tell them you are an AMERICAN and every senate vote will directly affect you. Then you tell them to leave us the hell alone.

Be sure to make those calls. We are one by one trying to make a difference. No one is paying or organizing us. I think that should make a huge difference if we all do our part.

And one more thing... can we as concerned citizens come together to file against these actions as being unconstitutional? Just a question to ponder over the Turkey this week.....

So I spent all day November 7th with C-span on in the background to keep track of what was being said in the House. The DumboKrat numbskulls had their minds made up, as did the RepulsiveKans. I say this because I am neither. I AM conservative, fiscally and socially, but do see many sides of issues. I just have common sense and the ability to see the bigger picture - the long road to the future.

Been reading about politics, the USSR, the UN, and other issues since the age of TEN. That's right. And I guess I can say that I could see this coming only it happened so very quickly once the Abomination was elected.

So the House in it's "debate" went like this: Women got up and pushed for the "Affordable Health Care for America Act" (aka the Pelosi bill) for women; Blacks got up and went all preachy and of course they pushed for it because they want their reparations and here they come. And the old white dems, they're holdovers from way back when it was fashionable to be a communist, excuse me, a Progressive from the days of T. Rooseveldt.

These people may have their reasons for schilling and then voting for the most convoluted, intrusive, mandating, high-cost, un-friendly bill ever concocted in this nation.

I thought it was because they are stupid. But are they? Well, they're either stupid or good at lying & fleecing Americans, OR they are very evil.

Why these 3 choices? If these congressmen really believe that this is a 'good' bill and right for America - They are STUPID. Most members of congress are lawyers or have some legal background. If they are on the side of lawyers and we do know that they were lobbied by lawyers AND insurance companies - deals were made - They are lying scum and are fleecing Americans. IF they are part of the progressive, nay, marxist, movement They are evil.

Evil is a strong word, no? But that is what these people are - those who seek to destroy the American way - Capitalism - not perfect, but certainly better than communism, socialism, and the cradle-to-grave systems which rob humans of their potential and the will to do for themselves. Our system was designed by the framers of the Constitution to keep government at bay and allow all citizens the right, rights, to do as they like, to invent, to develop, to do nothing, to work, to be educated, to rise high above their birth - and so much more.

Here's the part where one of you will respond with 'slavery.' Yes, guess what, not to diminish the pain of that part of our history but did you know that BLACK AFRICANS WERE SELLING OTHER BLACK AFRICANS INTO SLAVERY? Oh, you didn't know that? It wasn't part of your education? Hmmmmm..... Well it's true. So it isn't all "Whitey's fault."

Did you also know that nearly every nation has had some form of slavery over the millennia? That doesn't make it right. But it doesn't make America worse than anywhere else.

The plan that was narrowly won last night is not a good plan. Boehner made good points in his 3 or 5 minutes. There will be no choice after 2013. There will be rationing. People will die because of this bill. And do you know - I almost hope the first to go are all the stupid people who supported or voted for it. That would cull our population of stupid.

Let's remember that Congressmen and other government leaders have said that Americans are misinterpreting HR3200 text. HMMMM... to me no legislation, especially of this complex and sweeping nature, should ever be open to any interpretation at all. But, who am I? Just an average working, taxpaying American citizen who is happy with my health care JUST AS IT IS.
So now, people who show up at town hall mtgs are "organized mobs." OK, let's see how a group, which apparently feels that America has NO HEALTH CARE at all, is organizing its members. Huh? NO, that cannot be! Liberal and leftist socialist trying to organize? COME ON!

Wow, that's more than the few tea party groups I know about. HMMMMMM.....

Well come on, this can't be so bad. What could they possibly be telling their people?
Oh, here are some of their suggestions to fight off grandma and grandpa at any meetings; these don't seem so extremist, do they?

How should we prepare to encounter the right wing protesters at MOC events?

1. Contact friendly MOCs (Members of Congress) and let them know you are coming to make sure our side is heard and that the event is positive. Provide constructive support for Members of Congress who are holding public events to promote health care reform by turning out constituents and anticipating problems ahead of time. Ask the Member’s staff what would be most helpful and talk through a strategy for making sure the right messages don’t get drowned out by chaotic protesters.
2. Inoculate your staff and your volunteers by telling them what to expect and what purpose lies behind the right-wing demonstrations. The more that the attendees know what to expect; the less startled they will be by the irrational tone and militancy of the protesters.
3. Bring more people than the other side has. Their side will be smaller but noisier. You must bring enough people to drown them out and to cover all our bases so as to marginalize their disruptive tactics. You don’t want to get into a screaming match, but it must be obvious to everyone—including press—that you represent the majority.
4. Arrive earlier than the other side does. We need to stack our folks in the front to create a wall around the Member, and we need to stake out the best spots for visibility and signs. Reconnaissance on the venue and an understanding of the staging will be important here. Make sure you do your homework so you can position your folks most effectively.
5. Be more visible than the other side. Bring more signs and leaflets, and whenever possible, post your signs all over the place so that you visually out-perform the other side. Make sure you have people holding signs in every place where a TV camera is likely to be and that next to every right wing sign, there’s one of your signs with your message.
6. Have a real plan for the media. Remember, this is a communications strategy that the right wing is using and our goal is to stop them from hijacking and changing the message and tone of these events. Assign 3-5 people to speak with the reporters who attend and make sure the reporters understand the scope and message of the event. If you let the media just report on what they see, they will invariably focus on the mayhem. That is a far juicer story than affordability and the public health insurance option. Don’t wait for the reporter to approach you. You must approach the reporters and be assertive in shaping the narrative that they write. Have someone assigned to greeting the media or checking in media as they arrive. That way you will know who they are and be able to work with them both during the event and afterwards. Also, plan to record both the events you attend and the events you organize. TV stations will use amateur footage to round out their stories, and the other side is recording and posting video online. We need to be able to give the press video of successful events too.

How should we interact/what do we say to the other side?

1. Do not debate on their “policy” points. Remember, they are seeking a platform to distort the truth about reform by making health care about abortion, rationing, euthanasia, etc. Rather than try to reply with the truth (which won’t move them anyway) we should respond with our message and at every turn re-focus the agenda on communicating with the Member of Congress.
2. Interrupt them when they get disruptive and refocus the meeting: Line up a number of people who feel comfortable interrupting and prepare them with statements like:
* Excuse me, I came today to listen to Representative XXX explain how this bill is going to make health care more affordable for me and my family. We’re being gouged by insurance companies that just want to make more profits while we struggle to keep up with premiums and co-pays. Representative, how are you going to fix that?”
* “I’m retired and can’t afford my prescription drugs because I’m on a fixed income. Representative, how is this bill going to affect me?”
* “I want to hear the Representative speak. He’s the one voting on the bill. Representative, how will this bill help people who already have insurance at work?”
* “What I’m worried about is how we’re going to keep the insurance companies from continuing to charge people more for being sick and keep them from taking away coverage when we need it most. What’s the plan for that?”
3. Don’t get into a shouting match with them. Instead, prep people on our side to keep raising the questions that we want answered. Repetition is the key. We need to arm our side with questions that play to the strength of our message and make sure we keep bringing them up over and over so that the press recognizes those central themes. We should also phrase those questions strategically to help move the message.
* “Over the last XX years, insurance company profits have risen XXX %; in this bill you would regulate insurance companies so that they can no longer deny people with pre-existing conditions and would have to play by fair rules. Isn’t that right, Representative XX?”
* “Isn’t it true that this bill would guarantee everyone a choice of public health insurance option that will lower cost overall in the system?”
4. Address the MOC directly with a positive message: Remember, these Members need cover and they are getting beaten up by right wing zealots in these meetings. We want to let the Member know that we appreciate his efforts to hear constituents and that we, the majority, agree with him.
5. We should demonstrate that we are the majority by chanting: When the other side gets too loud, we should shut them down with chants that counter their message like “Health Care Can’t Wait!” and “Health Care Delayed is Health Care Denied” and prep people to chant at key points when the other side gets most disruptive.
6. Follow up with the Member one-on-one: This experience may have been trying for your MOC. Make sure that you thank him and that you let him know that the majority is with him. He needs to know that we will provide cover and support him at every turn for his leadership on this issue.

Organizing your own events with a Member of Congress

One advantage to organizing your own Town Hall or public event with Members of Congress is that you will have much more control over the event and limit the other side’s opportunities for disruption. Still, you should take precautions to make sure that you can keep meetings you organize under control. Here are some basic tips:

1. Talk to the Member of Congress ahead of time so that you agree on a format that is comfortable for the Member and that you can troubleshoot roles or concerns that the Member may have about the event. It is important to know how much time the Member will have, when he will arrive, what staff he’s bringing, and how many questions he’ll answer so that you can anticipate any issues that may arise and can plan your program appropriately.
2. Know who you are turning out to attend the event. Make sure you turn out a substantial number of people from your base and that everyone signs a sign in sheet upon entering the event. Give everyone name tags so they are easily identifiable. If you want to ensure greater control over turnout, you can ask attendees to rsvp or even issue tickets to the event and require presentation of the ticket at the entrance.
3. Choose a venue that is difficult for the opposition to access without being noticed. Get to your location early and make sure you set up the venue in a way that ensures that the attendees you want are at the front and that any protesters who come are sequestered as far as possible from the stage. Make sure that you have signs and visuals up and that you adequately understand the layout of your venue so that you know where the entrances are, where the press will be positioned, where your speakers will be, etc.
4. Select a strong moderator to move the agenda in a disciplined way. Make sure you select someone who is comfortable interrupting rowdy protesters, who can command the attention of the room, and who understands how to de-escalate tensions and re-direct people to the agenda.
5. Lay out goals for the meeting and establish ground rules for conduct in the meeting at the beginning of the event. Among these ground rules should be a protocol for asking questions. One way to do this is to ask people to submit questions ahead of time on cards, to permit only one question at a time, and to limit the topic of questions.
6. Plan for disturbances and assign marshals. Make sure that you assign marshals to take care of moving the crowd, keeping people organized and orderly, and acting as security should any need arise to ask noisy or disruptive protesters to leave. If you have cause to think that you will need more back-up, notify the police ahead of time.
7. Collect signs and leaflets that are not provided by you or your organization. Another way to limit protesters’ ability to hijack your event is to confiscate signs or leaflets that they may bring into the venue from outside. The best way to do this is to make a blanket rule that no one can bring signs or leaflets and to advertise this fact as you do turn out in the weeks preceding the event. You can distribute your own signs in the event and offer them one as they enter if you choose to allow them to enter.
8. Assign people to greet the media and to stay close to reporters both as they enter and leave the event. It’s important that you take away right-wingers opportunities to talk with reporters by making sure that your staff or leaders are in constant contact with the media who attend. You should set up a special table or area for the press to sit during the event and that area should be close t the stage and away from any areas of the venue where protesters may gather. Also make sure you have materials ready for the reporters so that they know the purpose and message of the event.

He's the only professor at Princeton — perhaps anywhere in the U.S. — who teaches in a classroom surrounded by guards.

Probably, he doesn't really need them. After all, most of those who object to his presence hold a fairly high view of human life, which presumably covers even the man they call "Professor Death." But the bioethicist who became famous for advocating the murder of disabled babies has lately become the target of death threats.

On Peter Singer's first day of teaching (a class called "Questions of Life and Death"), some 200 protesters arrived on the Princeton campus, some of them waving signs comparing Princeton to Auschwitz. Some 30 wheelchair-bound disability-rights advocates managed to barricade all the entrances to Princeton's Administration building; 14 of them were subsequently arrested. Campus police circled the building where Singer actually taught, checking identification to make sure that the only students who got into the building were Singer's.

Singer is a moral utilitarian, who believes that the morality of any action should not be judged by any transcendent moral standard. Instead, it should be judged by how much it will increase the world's sum total of happiness. It all sounds rather friendly. After all, who could be against happiness? But on closer inspection, "happiness" can turn out to mean horror. Consider:

Singer teaches that babies less than a month old have no human consciousness and thus do not have the same rights as older people. That it's "more valuable" to save the lives of 10 strangers than to save the life of one's own child. That it may be more "compassionate" to use human embryos — or even disabled infants — than healthy rats in medical experiments. (You don't think rats enjoy being experimented on, do you?) That "non-persons" — the handicapped, senile or terminally ill — are not "self-conscious, rational or autonomous," and we should not "squander" money on them, as they would be better off dead. (The disabled-rights group Not Dead Yet disagrees). He's enthusiastic about the Chinese practice of killing infant girls — even healthy ones — because newborns are "clearly not" people in "the ethically relevant sense." He's also one of the world's foremost advocates of animal rights, comparing "discrimination" against animals with racism and sexism.

In a nutshell, Singer believes that none of us is born with rights: We have to earn them. We must be able to reason and be self-aware. In his mind, this definition excludes all healthy newborns — but includes sheep, pigs, dogs and cattle. Never mind that human infants, if left in peace, will shortly acquire self-awareness in far greater measure than any animal.

An Overdose of Candor
Though Singer has stirred great controversy, the irony is that he has merely taken the logic of abortion to its natural conclusions — and has been honest about it.

Professor Robert George, a political philosopher in Princeton's department of philosophy and a devout Catholic, has debated Singer on his controversial opinions. Although George is often put forth as Singer's principle opponent, George himself doesn't see it that way.

"At a certain level, Singer's fundamental difference is not with me, but with our liberal, mainstream colleagues," George says. "Both Singer and I see very clearly that abortion and infanticide are the same thing. They're both the killing of a human being in the early stage of that human being's development. We both see that if abortion is justified, then infanticide is justified. And we both see that if infanticide is unjustified, then abortion is unjustified."

To put it another way, George says, "if it's morally wrong for a husband to beat his wife outside the house, then it has to be morally wrong for the same husband to beat up his wife inside the house. By the same token, if it's morally wrong to kill a baby outside the womb, then it's morally wrong to kill a baby inside the womb. Location, as Singer and I both see, is of no moral relevance to the justifiability of taking the victim's life — or injuring the victim.

"Of course, he believes both are justified and I believe both are unjustifiable. But what we both see very clearly seems entirely obscured to my mainstream, liberal colleagues, who want to say that while abortion is justified, infanticide is unjustified." These colleagues don't want to throw their hat into George's ring, he adds, but neither do they want to throw it into Singer's.

George believes the most interesting debates at Princeton will not be between Singer and his conservative critics, but between Singer and prochoice liberals — "people who think they can have it both ways. It will be interesting to watch them explain to Professor Singer, in the face of his logic, why they're against infanticide if they're for abortion."

In fact, Singer may well be the abortion movement's worst nightmare, George believes, "precisely because he's willing to say where the logic of their position leads, and embrace that logic." Prochoicers should fear Singer because he comes right out and says what they're privately thinking.

Do As I Say, Not As I Do
Interestingly, Singer’s willingness to follow his philosophy does have limits when it comes to putting it into practice. Singer, you see, has a mother. Her name is Cora Singer, and she suffers from Alzheimer's. This means she has become, as the London Daily Mail put it, "a 'non-person' and candidate for the 'non-voluntary euthanasia' that Singer advocates."

But instead of advocating her death, Singer is taking the best of care of her. In fact, he's "squandering" tens of thousands of dollars to make sure she's comfortable.

Singer the philosopher would say that the money would be better spent feeding hundreds of starving Africans. Singer the philosopher would say his mom should take the place of laboratory rats. But Singer the son will have none of it. Not for his mother laboratory experiments or the morgue. To heck with the world's starving masses. After all, this is his mother! Suddenly moral utilitarianism goes out the window.

The clash between his Ivory Tower beliefs and his feelings as a son were a revelation to Singer. "I think this has made me see how the issues of someone with these kinds of problems are really very difficult," he admits. "Perhaps it is more difficult than I thought, because it is different when it's your mother."

Professor Death, it seems, cannot live with his own philosophy, and that's good news for his opponents. As BreakPoint commentator Chuck Colson put it, "The truth of any worldview is authenticated by how well it depicts reality." Singer's worldview "flunks the reality test" because his own actions "demonstrate how unworkable secular humanistic ideas about human life really are," Colson notes.

Perhaps Singer would likely find even more difficulties with his moral utilitarianism if he spent some time getting to know other people whose lives he has deemed not worthy to be lived: Handicapped people who are living happy and productive lives. Down's Syndrome children who are a joy to their families. The other sick, elderly people who now make up his mother's nursing home companions.

As Singer debates issues of life and death at Princeton, Princetonians who value all human life should trumpet the truth: They should let their fellow classmates know how Singer spends his own money. He's not increasing the world's total happiness by feeding the starving millions of Sudan, but "wasting" it on his own sick, useless, mom.

Disabled-rights advocates call Singer "the most dangerous man in the world today." But his treatment of his own mother shows how dangerous he really is.

"It is different when it's your mother," Singer says.

Cut the bull, Peter. If your philosophy doesn't work for you, it doesn't work for anyone.

Europeans, Health Care, and the Good Old Days

With the latest news of the European Union electing more 'conservative' members of government, one wonders what they know that we don't. Europeans are really upset about the money being printed and spent on their own "stimulus" and "bailout" debt. They can see what the future holds and they want to stop it because it is a bad future.

What is it about America today - that 'we' (not I) want to reward big failed companies, institute a dangerous health care system, and make sure unions are paid first while screwing the rest of us.

Americans have been warned by Canadians and British citizens of the danger of 'universal health care.' Stories of extremely lengthy wait times, lists of allowed medications and treatments, and patients dying for lack of care should be a wake-up call to Americans. Heck, everyone notices how the poor dental care affects most English folks' smiles.

This isn't politically correct to say but health care is not a right. Some want it to be a right of every person in America, legally or illegally here. And that begs the question "who pays for universal health care?"

We all know who will end up paying for everyone - Legal US middle-class citizens. The rich will be able to afford what they have now. The poor will never be able to afford what is available now. The lucky working folk have access to company plans but they still have to pay into it.

Universal Health Care as the current administration wants it is not good for America. But neither is the HMO or Managed health care system as it is now. I remember the days where a trip to the doctor was a walk down a couple streets, in a house, where you could smell that old 'doctor' smell. It's where my ears were pierced when I was 10 years old. Not at a mall counter with a piercing 'gun' but with a needle and cork. In a doctor's office. Our doctor also made house calls. He delivered my mother's children. He did everything and it didn't cost an arm & a leg.

Can we go back to those times? Well, where'd they go anyway? I'd like to go back to that time in my life. The '60s - Too young to protest in the streets, but old enough to join the boys in a pickup hockey game on the street. Just about the right time to hold on to my innocence and childhood.

My Mother Knew - Nothing Naive about Comrade Obama

It's been awhile since I've blogged here. My mother died recently, of a heart attack which I am convinced was brought on by the actions of Obama and the liberal left. She was always very conservative and saw things 20 or more years before they happened. We grew up with her "conspiratory" ways but in actuality she was RIGHT about all of the things she said would happen.

No, hippies weren't really from another planet, but in some ways, they were. Things that are happening now were born in the late 50s and 60s, years I was alive... I remember her going on about this or that.... and yep, she was right.

How she detested the ideology of this OBAMA. We certainly heard her thoughts on what he was up to... She listened to Rush, to Hannity, and to many local New England talk show hosts.... Howie Carr, Jay Severin, Michael Graham.... All libertarian or conservative thinkers exposing the crap brought about not only in Washington DC, but in our own Boston Beacon Hill.

She knew there was nothing naive about this new president. Everything he and his ilk has done even before being elected was very calculated to steal away our freedoms and enslave us in one way or another. I think she died at the right time, before she could see her grand & great-grandchildrens' lives being destroyed as obama confiscates whatever they have, to give to some bastard who believes she or he is owed everything.

I really cannot say anymore at this time for my grief is not only for my mother, but for all of America, her Constitution, and her working citizens.

Obama is NOT an equalizer; he's not even a good man; he will NOT bring this country together. Rather Obama is hell bent on causing division and discord and distraction and destruction. Obama wants power. And Obama is a corrupt politician. This man holds the worst kind of power. The power to destroy. How many Americans know, for example, that the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act were reforms that the Republican Party struggled for in vain during the Reconstruction era a hundred years earlier? Fewer still. The 13th amendment banning slavery, the 14th amendment extending the Bill of Rights to the states, and the 15th amendment according voting rights to blacks all three enacted by the Republican Party in the face of fierce Democrat opposition. Alan Keyes, former Presidential Candidate - whom I supported though he didn't win the nomination - is a good Voice against Obama. It was about 8 years ago that Keyes tried for President, BUT was not getting any press time. I went on a local radio program and spoke about Alan Keyes, why he is the best candidate for USA President, and how the Press is intentionally NOT letting him get his word out. I was very angry back then about the manipulation by the liberal press. You can imagine how very very angry I am now since the Liberal Press has duped millions of American voters and bought the votes of stupid and greedy people via ACORN in order to get this Anti-American, Communist Pompous Jackass elected.

Arch-conservative Alan Keyes is not giving Barack Obama any honeymoon.

After the Los Angeles Times "Top of the Ticket" column picked up Keyes' comments - taken from an impromptu interview posted to YouTube - about Obama from last week, those comments have been the buzz of the web this past weekend.

Keyes, a former U.S. ambassador, ran against Obama in 2004 as the Republican Senate candidate in Illinois.

In his diatribe against the new president, Keyes calls Obama a "radical communist" and says "he will destroy this country" and warns that unless he is stopped, America "will cease to exist."

FCC to censor the airwaves?

The Media Research Center is calling on President Obama to publicly guarantee his opposition to all forms of regulatory assault, including the “Fairness Doctrine” and any FCC requirements for ownership and localism that may be used to silence conservative talk radio.

Additionally, the MRC is insisting that the President’s nominee for FCC Chairman, Julius Genachowski, also publicly pledge not to use the regulatory powers of the FCC for censorship of the airwaves. Until we have those promises, it is safe to assume that the President and his Administration are not serious about protecting Free Speech Rights in America.

Meanwhile the liberal media continue beating the Fairness Doctrine drum in tandem with liberal organizations and individuals like MoveOn.org and ACORN and others in an emboldened effort to silence conservative talk radio. They know that successfully reinstating the Fairness Doctrine would allow them to implement their radical liberal agenda -- unchecked and unchallenged!

The truth is starting to seep out. Because of the need for more money to finance the latest bailout―the Obama economic stimulus plan―America is going further in debt to the Chinese Communists. Our country is officially being sold to the highest bidder. And we have striking confirmation of this fact from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The good news is that a correspondent for the mainstream media―Wyatt Andrews of CBS News―has figured this out and has managed to get on the air with his terrifying findings. Andrews' report on the Friday CBS Evening News with Katie Couric was direct and to the point. Clinton is in China to beg for a handout.

"The truth is the Administration needs China's help. America's stimulus is very expensive and the U.S. wants China to help finance it," Andrews reported. This is what America has become―a country that sends its Secretary of State abroad to beg for money from foreigners. In this case, it's a communist dictatorship that forces women to have abortions, tortures Christians, and threatens the freedom and democratic government of Taiwan.

Clinton told China the 'we' are relying on China to pay our debt.

Hmmm.... last I knew our family worked hard to pay its own debt with help from no one.
How did America get to this point that we need to beg CHINA for money? And what happens if/when the time comes that China decides to cash in their chip. So now, not only is OBAMA trying to kill the USA from the inside (Liberal policies, destructive laws, etc), he's also putting us in an impossible situation in which the biggest Communist nation in the world can destroy us because of Liberal Program spending.

In Illinois, Rep. Dunkin (Democrat, what else?) proposes requiring gun owners there to have insurance policies worth $1,000,000 - that's ONE MILLION DOLLARS - of liability on their guns. But there aren't any Insurance Companies who do that. Hence, if this proposed legislation is passed, gun owners will forfeit their currently legal ID Cards and be forced to give up their gun. But since it will all be 'legal' no one can say that guns were banned.

Folks, this is how a lot of things are going to change in this country. Be aware, take it to heart, and keep making phone calls to everyone, not just your local pols. Call Pelosi and Reid's numbers. Call Senators from all states, both sides if you must. Be very diligent.

The "R" Word is coming soon. I can just sense it. The setup is being put together. Americans are being desensitized to the word Trillion regarding dollars. Remember Dr. Evil in Austin Powers? He comes out of a 30-year hibernation and demands One MILLION Dollars and has to be told that figure isn't anything any more. Well, folks, that's where we're at.

Now, what exactly is the "R" word you ask?

Reparations. For slavery. From white folk to black folk. That's just a summary of course. But I believe that it is somewhere in the Obama Agenda. Probably under some other name. Perhaps it's ACORN who will be in a position to oversee it. After all, they could be poised to receive billions of dollars from the Stimulus package. What better way to use it?

But I must object to this idea of reparations. My grandparents (both sides) owned no slaves and weren't even in America until 1924. So why would my tax dollars be ripe for the pickin'? And there are many black folk who were not here until the 1900s - not ancestors of slaves. Why, our own president Barack Hussein Obama wasn't born in USA, father was Kenyan, and mother a Kansan. He's not descended from any American Slaves.

DIRTY LITTLE SECRET
And what about slaves who were sold by fellow Africans to whites? Why not go back to the source and get reparation money from them? Because that's the dirty little secret Liberals don't want you to know about or remember. Many slaves were sold by other African groups. The Native Americans had slaves, the Romans had slaves, the Inca and other South American groups had slaves. The ancient Egyptians, Hebrews, Babylonians, Assyrians, Greeks, gosh, they ALL had slaves.

INDENTURED SERVITUDE
And don't forget about all the Indentured Servants - mostly poor Irish and English people forcibly taken to early America where they could 'work off' their slave condition after 7 years and obtain some land and sheep or whatever. Why these people were treated even worse than Slaves. Most never got their land or animals. They got no education. They had to run off into the woods and hills for their survival. AND they are the only group of people that can be made fun of and maligned without fear of political correctness stepping up to the plate. Who are these people? REDNECKS. That's what we call them. They worked hard in the fields and their necks were burnt by the sun. That's where the name comes from. They were the ones in the hill with the 'illegal' stills during prohibition. By God, they fought for their rights. Today their descendants are still in America, in the same areas they originally had escaped to. WHO OWES them reparations?

So be prepared taxpayers. I'm telling you so.

Say, isn't the mess we're in partly because Barney Frank & his goons forced the banks to lend to anyone with a pulse, even if they could never repay the loan? This must be the Change [i.e. more of the same, but someone else in control] that DopeBama promised us.

There is no "A, R or P" in the government's Troubled Asset Relief Program, quipped U.S. Bancorp Chief Executive Richard Davis Tuesday morning in front of about 300 business people in Minneapolis.

"It's just troubled,"...

Excerpted:

Davis went on to say in his talk that while government officials marketed the program as a way to entice banks to lend again, TARP actually was designed to give solid banks like U.S. Bancorp some extra cash to buy weaker banks in the system. U.S. Bancorp did just that late last year when it acquired the assets of two failed banks in California, Downey Savings and Loan and PFF Bank & Trust.

"We were told to take it so that we could help Darwin synthesize the weaker banks and acquire those and put them under different leadership," he said. "We are not even allowed to mention that. ... We were supposed to say the TARP money was used for lending."

But Davis is talking about it now, he says, because he and others oppose current and future strings attached to the program. Davis didn't detail those strings, but he said he and some peers intend to voice their opinions to Washington, D.C., soon.

"Now they're punishing you for having the capital," he said, adding that he refuses to stand by and let his company become "collateral damage" in an attempt to nationalize the banks.

Davis touted U.S. Bancorp as a strong player in a weak industry, but also gave props to local competitors Wells Fargo & Co., TCF Financial Corp. and Bremer Financial.

"That's why this city will continue to come through this difficult time better than almost any major city in America," said Davis, who came to Minnesota from California. "We didn't get into the stupid stuff two years ago that would have impaired us from doing the normal stuff today. So there."

Davis also disclosed that a number of other states and cities have been working hard to lure U.S. Bancorp away from the Twin Cities, but assured the crowd that so long as he remains in charge, the company will stay right where it is. The company employs more than 10,000 people in Minnesota.

Near the close of his speech, Davis suggested that what the panic-stricken world needs more than ever now is a little bit of courage and some faith that it will get through this dark period.

Why are the following hidden in the stimulus bill?

Because Democrats understand that sneaking it in is easier than making the case to the Americna people, here is why …..

1. A provision in the stimulus creates a new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, that will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal is to“guide” your doctor’s decisions (442, 446). reduce costs and

2. Hospitals and doctors that are not “meaningful users” of the new system will face penalties. “Meaningful user” isn’t defined in the bill. That will be left to the HHS secretary, who will be empowered to impose “more stringent measures of meaningful use over time” (511, 518, 540-541)

3. A provision in the stimulus creates the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research (190-192). Daschle’s 2008 book (”Critical: What We Can Do About The Health Care Crisis) explained, the goal is to slow the development and use of new medications and technologies because they are driving up costs. He praises Europeans for being more willing to accept “hopeless diagnoses” and “forgo experimental treatments,” and he chastises Americans for expecting too much from the health-care system.

4. The stimulus bill will affect every part of health care, from medical and nursing education, to how patients are treated and how much hospitals get paid. The bill allocates more funding for this bureaucracy than for the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force combined (90-92, 174-177, 181).

What is it that Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity keep reminding us? We're on the "Road to Socialism" I believe. Yes, well on the way.

Mark Steyn has written in Imprimus, last year anyway, that once we go down the road to Universal Health Care we're basically doomed.

As you can see, they are happy about several PROGRAMS, I mean tiny porky items amounting to only 1.25 BILLION job-creating dollars, that were included within the Stimulus package that Congress passed last week without reading. Here is the truth about this group.

Thank you to all who helped urge their Members of Congress to support the economic stimulus package – it paid off! The House and Senate have finished their work on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Thanks to your letters to Congress, the bill includes several important investments in nutrition and obesity prevention. The final bill includes funding for 3 programs that support healthy eating and wellness:

1) $650 million for clinical and community-based prevention and wellness programs
2) $100 million for much-needed equipment for the National School Lunch Program to help schools prepare healthier meals.
3) $500 million for WIC to help low-income moms and babies in these tough economic times

Up until the last minute, all of these programs were in jeopardy of being cut. Thank you for helping to secure these important nutrition and health provisions. We couldn’t have done it without such great grassroots support.

In his commentary, Have We Become a Nation of Lemmings, Thomas Segel makes many good points. One is below. Read the whole piece though.

"In any number of international tests American students are continuously outscored by Asian nations such as South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and even Hong Kong. With European nations, the Americans find themselves scoring around 15th to 18th among some 24 nations taking these educational tests."

In municipalities across the USA various Teachers' Unions are demanding higher wages for that ever-so-special class of human being, the TEACHER. I mean, the EDUCATOR. Come on, they NEED those raises or else something happens and they cannot perform effectively.

But getting back to Segel's piece, as Americans, we cannot afford to act as Lemmings, blindly following what the media or our government leaders tell us. Negative talk streaming from BO's mouth doesn't help anyone or anything. We cannot trust elected officials - Hell they WON'T even do their homework - read a bill before voting to accept it.

But if we will act as lemmings, let's do it in a positive way - when the next election rolls around, let's lemming together and vote all of the liberals who have financed our futures out of office.

That means I won't go to ANY movie with Susan Sarandon, Whoopie Goldberg, or, well, there are just too many to name. Much simpler to say I don't go to movies. Oh, I would have gone to see the Clint Eastwood one but just didn't make it.

I also refuse anything of Martha Stewart's now because she thinks we should "Suck it in.... pay your taxes... that's the way it is.... budget and be careful...." Well, Martha, I guess if you're a bazillionaire that's not a big problem. But for the rest of us it sort of is.

So why the hell should I give you my money? Your sheets aren't really any better than another company's, and in fact, the same company probably makes all the sheets. You are paid to put your name on some of them. You're not a political expert. Shut up and Cook.

Sen. Stabenow's 'Outrageous Conflict of Interest' on Fairness Doctrine

It's been reported that Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow wants hearings on "accountability" in radio, suggesting Democrats are eyeing a return of the Fairness Doctrine.

What's not been widely reported is that the Michigan lawmaker is married to a media executive with ties to left-wing radio.

During a recent interview with syndicated radio-host Bill Press, Stabenow said: "I think it's absolutely time to pass a standard. Now, whether it's called the 'fairness standard,' whether it's called something else — I absolutely think it's time to be bringing accountability to the airwaves."
She didn't mention that her husband Tom Athans is the co-founder and former CEO of Democracy Radio, which supported "progressive" talk radio, and was executive vice president for programming at left-wing Air America.

Columnist Camille Paglia recently wrote: "Debbie Stabenow, who has been in the aggressive forefront of the campaign to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine, is married to Tom Athans, who works extensively with left-wing radio organizations and was once the executive vice-president of Air America, the liberal radio syndicate that, despite massive publicity from major media, has failed miserably to win a national audience.

"Stabenow's outrageous conflict of interest has of course been largely ignored by the prestige press, which should have been demanding that she recuse herself from all political involvement with this issue."

Originally instituted in 1949 by the FCC, the Fairness Doctrine required broadcasters using the public airwaves to give equal time to opposing political views. The FCC repealed the measure in 1987.

Since talk radio is overwhelmingly dominated by conservative hosts, and liberal talk radio draws few listeners, the "equal time" provision would likely force many radio stations to pull popular conservative hosts from the air rather than air low-rated liberal hosts.

"I remain incredulous that any Democrat who professes liberal values would give a moment's thought to supporting a return of the Fairness Doctrine to muzzle conservative shows," Paglia opined.

"Government surveillance of the ideological content of talk radio is a shocking first step toward totalitarianism."

And guys, even though we're going to lose the battle against this latest destruction of our Constitution and the rights to private property that it guarantees in the name of "Stimulating The Economy" to "Stave off Catastrophe"...we gotta fight the next battle before it gets here.

Let's take the best play the Republicans and Democrats have right out of their playbook and PRE-EMPTIVELY march against the next bailout/stimulus/power-grab!

Just google "If we don't act now" and you'll see exactly the play that the Socialist Republican/Democrat Regime uses over and over on us.

Feel safer that they've "been acting now" by confiscating, redistributing and devaluing your money for the last two years?

Oklahoma City – For far too long, the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution has been known as the forgotten amendment. With power grab after power grab, Congress has slowly eroded the rights of states to keep powers not specifically granted to the federal government.

I guess I had the worst drive ever on my way home. From Rush Limbaugh, to Laura Ingraham, to channels in between, the news is dire indeed.

I heard soundbites of Anderson Cooper referring to the Republicans as "declaring war on Obama" in several iterations. OOOhhhh.... Well AC, I guess that's one way to put it. But how about the Republicans are demanding some transparency and a chance to have some say in, a debate of, and time to read the HUGE spending bill before voting on it? I mean, it's only ONE THOUSAND pages long. I guess those silly Republicans had some ridiculous notion of knowing what they are voting for BEFORE voting. Those crazy GOPs.

So, the Liberal Democrats' total disregard for and lack of responsibility in the nation's future is a nail.

And that hallmark of a free market "The Fairness Doctrine", long known to be conservative stirring of fear against Obama (yeah, right), well now, isn't that just raising its ugly head among LIBERAL Democrats? Oh yeah. It is. The ramifications of what could happen here are staggering.
Can you say, George Orwell? Can you say '1984'? Can you say "control of the media by an autocrat"?

Citizen National Security Force AKA "The PLAN"

So I do remember when BO was campaigning he did mention putting together a Citizen Security Force to supplement the Police and other law enforcement agencies.

ANYWAY, I hear that Economic Liberalist Rahm Emanuel wrote a book called The Plan in which he outlines this Citizen National Security Force. Did I miss the part where Rahm wrote a book about his struggle while in prison? Do we really think this is a good idea as in, when government expands we KNOW it NEVER contracts.

Excerpt from Rahm Emanuel's book The Plan [from off of Amazon]:

"It's time for a real Patriot Act that brings out the patriot in all of us. We propose universal civilian service for every young American. Under this plan, All Americans between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five will be asked to serve their country by going through three months of basic training, civil defense preparation and community service...Here's how it would work. Young people will know that between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five, the nation will enlist them for three months of civilian service. They'll be asked to report for three months of basic civil defense training in their state or community, where they will learn what to do in the event of biochemical, nuclear or conventional attack; how to assist others in an evacuation; how to respond when a levee breaks or we're hit by a natural disaster. These young people will be available to address their communities' most pressing needs."

Imagine multitudes of say, jobless inner city youth, marching in lockstep, wearing Brown shirts perhaps? Sound familiar? Ever read any history from say the 1930s? Can you say Heil Obama? Well, maybe in Kenyan it won't sound so scary.

Just think of the good uses this new National Socialist (which is what NAZI is short for btw) security force will be good for. Keeping us taxpayers in our places; confiscating our weapons and ammo - yeah, we knew this might/will be happening; geez, the opportunities are endless. We cannot trust this administration to leave us with any freedoms.

Making Sense of the CENSUS

Socialist-In-Chief B.H. Obama is taking over the US Census. Maybe he'll use that citizen army (or whatever he called it) that he wanted to mobilize during his campaign to do the NEW census work. Once BO gets ahold of the constitutionally-required Census, can we turn back the clock?

Getting back to the Census. So, I remember in 2000, I filled out the requisite few questions and ignored all the extra ones they had there. Questions about my religion, my heritage, and so on. Can you believe the government sent someone to my home to ask me to answer those questions? I was so happy because this gave me the opportunity to tell the government, indirectly of course, where to shove it. And I did!

The young woman asked each question one by one. My answer to each:

"None of the government's damned business!"

This young (Acorn-in-training?) lass couldn't understand why I was so "hesitant" to share my personal information with the government.

I mean come ON - They have my Social Security number, birth information, and for $49.99 can go online and just find out everything else, can't they? I mean come ON.

Getting back to the Socialist-in-Chief's ideological reason for takeover of the census - gerrymandering! Adding in illegal aliens! Creating a broader base for Liberal Socialist government growth and takeover.

Obama - the candidate of "hope and change" is really the "Dope" and will Re-arrange the USA as we know it. What a sneaky son of a what? Gee - we don't know that B. Hussein was born in the US or not. I say let's keep fighting to find out. And if he isn't? First, of course remove him from office and kick his ass out of the country. He and his family, hey, maybe they'll really like living in Cuba instead... or maybe Kenya.

So Pelosi, Reid, Barney F is for F** Frank et al have snuck into their slimey and very un-American Pork package some interesting hidden Health Care provisions. Now, based apparently on Daschle's idea of sneaking them into a budget bill, these provision must be really packed with a socialist punch. How else can anyone justify that B. Hussein kept pushing to Stop Talking and get this bill passed... knowing this HC stuff is in there - without benefit of debate, discussion, or the knowledge of the American people.

Of course, on the other hand, knowing that 53% of Americans.. uh, voters.... uh, people who cast a ballot did so on behalf of Blowbama, Chuckie Schumer (D-NY) was probably right when he said we "chattering" Americans didn't care.

I care. I'm pissed. Not only is this so-called stimulus package a phony fraudulent taxpayer screwjob moneygrab for bigger government, but it is full of Un-American ideologies. Why my Dad must be rolling over in his grave right now with all this Socialist/Fascist/Communist bullcrap going on.

The Anti-Federalists had it right when they feared the "federal" or Central government becoming too strong. This is exactly what has been happening since FDR's time. The Anti-Federalists were "committed to both union and the states; to both commerce and civic virtue; to both private and public good." (from What the Anti-Federalists Were For -pg 6, by Herbert J. Storing)

With our Federal Government bloated as it is and now adding 300 BILLION dollars in more bloated government jobs and programs - this is the height of arrogance. Every year we will have to support this extra 300 B because don't you know, you can never go back.
